Begin Healing
Meet with a licensed professional counselor in a safe, confidential environment. Your journey starts here — at no cost, with no judgment.
What to Expect
Your first session, demystified.
Is it really free?
Yes. Every session — individual, group, virtual, or mobile — is completely free. There are no hidden fees, no insurance requirements, and no financial qualifications.
What happens in the first session?
Your first session is about getting to know you. The counselor will ask about your situation, what you're dealing with, and what kind of support would help most. There are no wrong answers.
Is it confidential?
Absolutely. Everything discussed in individual sessions is confidential under professional counseling ethics and law, with standard exceptions for imminent danger to self or others.
What if I'm not sure therapy is for me?
That's exactly the right time to try. Many people come in uncertain and leave with a clearer sense of what they need. There's no commitment required after a first session.
What if I've started therapy before and didn't finish?
You're not alone in that either. Nationally, most people who start PTSD treatment don't complete it — usually because of cost, transportation, or scheduling. NARCO is built to remove exactly those barriers: free forever, mobile counseling that comes to you, and flexible scheduling designed to keep you in care, not just get you through the door.
